DVB-RCS Forward Link Analyser (FLA)
Click here to download the FLA data sheet.
The VeriSat DVB-RCS Forward analyser is a must for any DVB-RCS related operation, development, verification or troubleshooting. The FLA provides a user-friendly and powerful overview of the forward link contents as well as an overview of the network and terminal status .
The FLA analyser is fully compliant with the DVB-RCS ETSI standard EN 301 790, and supports all the RCS signalling options. The forward link protocol information is captured and monitored in real-time. A wide range of display modes and logging capabilities allows the user to select an optimum analysis mode depending on current test and monitoring objectives. The captured forward link stream may be stored for further analysis offline or future reference.
Applications include DVB-RCS system development, validation and operations:
- Hub and terminal equipment development
- DVB-RCS application compliance testing
- Protocol compliance testing
- Interoperability testing
- RCS software development
- Operational network troubleshooting and monitoring
- Integration testing and system deployment
- Terminal installation and field support.
VeriSat DVB-RCS Forward Link Analyser highlights:
- Monitor and logging of all RCS signalling as well as IP traffic
- Windows-based user-friendly user interface
- Windows operating platform
- Main features:
-
- Decoding of all PSI/SI tables and DVB-RCS messages
- Monitoring of terminal Eb/No, frequency and timing errors, correction values for the terminals based on forward link signalling information (based on CMT and TIM messages)
- Monitoring of time slot allocations (TBTP)
- Display of frame and time slot structure (SCT, FCT, TCT) in a graphical time versus frequency chart for each superframe
- Protocol errors detected according to ETR 290 section 5
- Generate reports documenting DVB-RCS tables, descriptors and message content
Support for DVB-S2 mode adaptation protocols L.2 and
L.3
This option upgrades the FLA to decode the L.2 and L.3 DVB-S2 mode
adaptation protocols. These protocols may be used on the ASI
modulator input or ASI demodulator output respectively to include
in-band framing information in VCM/ACM systems. The FLA displays
the DVB-S2 frame information in separate monitor views with one
entry for each frame and includes key frame header information for
each row. THis is the only solution providing analysis of tghe
complete DVB-S2 air interface.
